Yellowstone

We have spent several Sunday afternoons in Yellowstone Park this summer. Notice the Sunday socks--we're still in church clothes, of sorts.
The kids are so fun to take places. I just want to "pause and save" our family right where we are.
They loved looking at the maps and looking for all the animals on the little info sheet that the ranger gave us. In fact, we saw three bears in the park this year--two black bears that were each quite close to the road, and one grizzly across a canyon.
Mathew has also become the family photographer. You might notice that I am actually in photos now. It's kind of like when Dorothy went over the rainbow and suddenly life was in color rather than black and white. Ta-da...drum roll...here's Cindy entering her own life story.

I loved the way this photo turned out.
